Sex&Money for psychologists A group format that opens the money conversation.

Money rarely arrives in a session as the subject. It comes in sideways — as guilt about a fee, as a partner who keeps the budget, as a want the client will not name. Sex&Money puts it on the table directly, for a group, without a single diagnostic questionnaire.

Why it fits

A method you can hold the way you hold a session.

The game does not ask you to become a different kind of specialist. It gives you a frame, a fixed order and printed questions — and leaves you the part you already know how to do.

01

A format, not another technique

The questions are printed and the order of the evening is fixed. You are not improvising a group from scratch: you keep the frame the method gives you.

02

The group does part of the work

Players often hear their own story in someone else's answer. A table makes some things sayable that stay unsaid one to one.

03

A second line in your practice

A game evening is a group service with its own price, and a gentle first step for people who are not yet ready to book individual work.

A session

Three hours, one arc, one to six players.

The facilitator does not improvise: the order of the evening is part of the method. Six is the comfortable ceiling, not a requirement — the game runs just as well for three, for two, or for one person sitting across from you.

01

The request

Each player says out loud what they came for. Two rolls put them into their first sector — nobody chooses where they start.

02

The practices

Cards are drawn, practices are done, and the die decides whether the bank pays or the player does. Credit is available and it is called Trust in Yourself. So is a deposit, and it is called Scaling.

03

The mirrors

The game ends only once a player has come through the Mirror sectors, where every question about desire is asked again in the language of money. Then the table talks — that is where the value lands.

The frame

Where the game ends and therapy begins.

Sex&Money is not psychotherapy and is not sold as such. Nobody is diagnosed, treated or advised about their health; players answer what they choose to answer and may decline any practice.

Your training is an advantage at the table, not a requirement: the method carries the session. It does not turn the evening into therapy, and the game may not be presented as one — that is part of every facilitator's licence.

The game is not run with someone in an acute state, in fresh grief or in the middle of a crisis. When a client needs a therapist right now, that is the answer — not a seat at the table.

Who should not sit down to play?

All questions and answers

Yes, and that is usually where a first table comes from: the people who already know you. What matters is that everyone at the table chose to be there and knows the frame before the first roll.

No. Sessions are not filmed, participants are not named, and what is said at the table stays there. That is the condition under which people tell the truth. Any story published afterwards is anonymised and used only with written permission.

No. You buy the set once and keep every fee you charge. There is no royalty on a table, no monthly membership, and no reporting of what you earn.
